Hello! I am a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern specializing in working with children and teens as they navigate emotional, social, and developmental challenges. My clients tend to be young people who may appear to be doing well on the outside but internally feel anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of who they are. Many of the clients I work with struggle with perfectionism, emotional regulation, identity development, and peer or family relationships. I also have experience working with neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and Autism, as well as clients within the LGBTQIA+ community, providing an affirming and supportive space to explore identity and build self-understanding.

My approach to therapy is collaborative, creative, and flexible to meet the unique needs of each child or teen. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with expressive arts and other creative practices to help clients better understand their emotions, develop effective coping skills, and shift patterns that may no longer be serving them. Sessions often include interactive and developmentally appropriate techniques to keep younger clients engaged, while also helping adolescents build insight, confidence, and emotional resilience.

I strive to create a space that feels safe, engaging, and genuine, where young people can drop the pressure, express themselves freely, and begin to make sense of their inner world. Starting therapy can feel like a big step, but it can also open the door to meaningful growth and lasting change. I would be honored to support you or your child in that process.
