Hello! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Titusville, Florida specializing in the treatment of adolescents and adults, ages 13 and up. I work with my clients to help teach the importance of how our thoughts and emotions affect our actions, develop appropriate coping skills, foster relationships, and provide supportive reflection that is sometimes needed to just get through the day. 

I earned a Master of Arts degree in Forensic Psychology from Argosy University in 2011, as well as additional coursework in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. A great deal of my therapeutic work has been with adolescents and their families, providing emotional, social, and educational advisement. My experience areas include treating ADHD, anxiety, depression, familial conflict, bullying issues, eating disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and communication/social skill deficits. Additionally, I have provided psychoeducational support teaching foster and kinship parents in the areas of anger management, stress reduction and management, identifying “red flag behaviors” in youth, and channeling negative behaviors.

My treatment method often varies from client to client, as no two people are exactly alike. Sometimes this means treating just the individual, and sometimes it means involving caregivers or other family/support members. I partner with my clients to develop effective treatment plans that focus on setting achievable therapeutic goals. Using cognitive behavioral techniques such as cognitive restructuring, development of coping skills, and assertiveness training, I guide my clients through the more difficult times in life and provide support along the way. Most importantly, I strive to provide the best quality of therapeutic care to all those who venture on this journey with me. After all, oftentimes the hardest part is asking for help in the first place.
